A full 1/2 gallon of “homemade” soup in less than 30 minutes on your stove top. Serves 4 with ease and it's gluten-free!
- From your pantry: 32 oz chicken stock 1 ½ cups water 14 oz. Can tomato sauce. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Salt & pepper to taste.
- Optional: 1 cup cooked and diced chicken, or cooked ground meat.
Cooking directions:
1. Bring chicken stock, water, soup mix, and tomato sauce to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover. stir often to prevent sticking.
2. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes until corn and vegetables are tender. Stir occasionally.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, allow to rest 5-10 minutes prior to serving. For a heartier meal add 1 cup cooked and diced chicken, ground meat at the start of step 3.
